RegaLead is proud to support WAFC
RegaLead is proud to offer its support to not one but two young teams in the Wythenshawe Amateurs Football Club (WAFC) with T-Shirt sponsorship for both the 09s Leopards and 09s Pumas
Both teams play in the Timperley and District junior Football league alongside development leagues, where winning games is secondary to participation and player development. Dave Cook and Liam Comer run the teams with the assistance of Cheshire Coaching, an outside coaching company who help the Pumas.
The Leopards, who have been together as a team longer, compete in the Red or ‘top’ division, and they have started the season well winning all games so far, with a squad of 9 players. The Pumas have been together just short of two years, competing in the White or ‘bottom’ division. They are fast improving and winning more games than they lose.
Of the sponsorship, Guy Hubble, Managing Director at RegaLead comments: “Being a Manchester based company, having two football teams in our working lives is second nature to us. We are proud of our community and take our corporate responsibility very seriously. The club does such fantastic work with young people, so it was a great fit for us. We will be following the progress of both the Leopards and the Pumas and wish both teams luck for the rest of the season.”
Both teams train at Newall Green high School and they play their games on Saturdays throughout the South Manchester area, with the home pitch being at St Wilfrid’s Primary School in Northenden.
